NEW FOR 2008 – Special Birding and Flora weeks
We have arranged with well-known local naturalist, Peter Jones, to accompany walking groups on selected weeks to observe the abundant birdlife and wildflowers . Peter organizes birdwatching and flora trips in Spain and many other countries of the world – his activities can be viewed at www.Spanishnature.com
The three weeks are those of
- April 5 – Wildflower week – the height of the Spring wildflower season
- May 3 – Birds and Wildflowers – a good season for all nature-lovers.
- August 30 – Birdwatching.
These weeks always combine Grade 2 walking, taken at a leisureable pace, with plenty of stopping to observe nature. The weeks are indicated in the calendar below with the letters B,W and BW against the grade, as appropriate. There is a supplement of 180 euros per person on the normal walking package rates for these special weeks.
